The first year I paid taxes as a full time employee was when I was fourteen. I worked in the nursery at K-mart. However, it was many a fine year of babysitting, lemon-aid stands, mowing & raking lawns, delivering newspapers, shoveling snow, ironing clothes and answering my dad's business from age 6 that led to my career as a marketing communications specialist. Being supported by Church activities everyday and twice on Sunday, led to my deep Spiritual commitment that at an early age, merged with my communication skills. Somewhere in t these skills and pass them on to the next generation. I have spent many years working on communications projects in every form. Public speaking began for me as a child and has carried me to many spiritual and political arena's as well as through the boardrooms of many pioneering projects. My training and application has been from script to screen. Some year's it is an advertising campaign or training film that has paid my bills. Other years it has been the development of a spiritual holistic healing documentary or series of essays that filled my creative hours. I am honored to be the keeper of ancient stories and Altars. I love to live those stories and share them with the many visitors of Hawkwind and the many Healing centers around the country that have invited me to teach. My stunning career has carried me throughout the halls of ABC, CBS, CNN, CNN HEADLINE NEWS, TPS, CONTINTAL TELEPHONE, INFO-SAFE, and several other Fortune 500 facilities. It has carried me to the poorest Indian reservations and orphanages around the world to do volunteer work. I have shared rituals in creative rooms of tattoo shops and turned around and danced in richest ballrooms and gala events that delight any girl's dreams. A week later I have turned around and found myself sleeping on the earth in a far away country with nothing but a prayer and a wool blanket to keep me going. My commitment to the planet and children in crisis is my passion and allows me to dream forward into creating solutions for the single parents and children in crisis who enter our gateway. Abundance follows me in odd and amusing ways. Some months there is no physical payment at all; just the satisfaction of knowing I did something well, because I care. I have been paid with chickens and children's smiles. I have been paid with abundance that I have been allowed the honor to pass on with the creation of Hawkwind Healing Center and the outreach programs of Above & Beyond. Never have I been in want or sorrow that I could not manifest my way into a new awareness within a very short period of time. I am a very blessed woman and feel excited when I can teach others to live in this same consciousness of abundant self. The law of reciprocity allows me to receive and to give in equal balance. I will always be grateful to the mother who taught me to tithe to Spirit first, and to always give gratitude for the abundance that supports me everyday. The following pages are filled with books, tapes, DVD'S's and creations of our journey at Hawkwind. When you purchase any of these items, you are supporting a bigger project. You are supporting the Hawkwind outreach programs. You are providing tutoring for learning disabled children. You are providing shelter and food for the next kid who shows up on the doorstep. You are providing for Elders in need on several reservations and children in African orphanages, as well as young parents in crisis who come to our special healing programs.You are providing for prison rehab programs and so much more.
